What is Reiki?

Reiki (Ray Key) meaning*Universal Energy* is a natural healing system. It was discovered in the early 1920's by Mikao Usui during his meditations on Mount Kurama in Japan.

 

What happens during a treatment?

During this non invasive therapy you relax while your practitioner using intention attunes to the Reiki symbols before carrying out the subtle techniques - similar to *laying on hands*. Although it is most common to relax on the couch it is equally as effective with the use of a chair.
